LocationThe New Connaught Rooms are located in the West End of London. If you need to contact the dojo itself the number is: (020) 7405 7811 TransportNearby Underground stations include: Holborn (Piccadilly, Central) is probably the closest station to the dojo Covent Garden (Piccadilly) is a little further, but if you want to do some shopping (or catch some opera) on the way in, this station has a little more character Leicester Square (Northern, Piccadilly) if you find yourself on the Northern Line, then you may prefer the walk up from Leicester Square than changing tubes Bloomsbury Ki Club usually practices in the Kent Room. Ask at reception if you need help.

Membership and FeesBefore a student is taught anything, he or she must be a member of the Ki Federation. This ensures among other things that everyone is fully covered by our insurance. The membership cost is included in the first month’s club membership fees. We regret that no exceptions can be made to this rule. The monthy fee for adults is £60.00, concessions may be made based on individual needs (please bring supporting documents). The first month’s fee includes a year’s membership of the Ki Federation of Great Britain. Because of this we ask that this is paid by cash or cheque. After the first month, we collect fees by monthly standing order. This works out to be around £7 per lesson (based on eight or more lessons in a month). WatchingIf you want to see what the class is like, and how and what is being taught, you are welcome to watch a class. Please arrive in plenty of time, so that the teacher or one of the higher grades can introduce you to what you are about to see. The lesson is about two hours long. Please make enough time to watch the whole lesson. |

Please ensure all of your delegates (students)/guests are aware of this procedure and that a full check list is taken to the assembly point
This may all sound a bit much, but the dojo is in a bit of a warren inside the New Connaught Rooms – therefore we have to know where the registration form is and who is in charge in case of an emergency.
The attendance register will serve as our “check list” for each session
You will find the list and a pen in the club box
As soon as you arrive, you must check yourself off on the list so we know to look for you in an emergency
The register should be kept in the dojo so we know where to find it
