It was good to see so many or our 5th and 6th Dans on their
Group course last weekend and we hope everyone had a good journey
home. Congratulations to David Pascoe on receiving his 6th Dan at
the course.
Our congratulations also go to Mark Greenley – on the 12th March he hosted the course in Muswell Hill, and this also celebrated the 30 years that his club has been open.
We require Dan Grades to make ukemi for the Dan Gradings on the Sunday of the Spring Seminar. Please let the office know if you will be available.
The Basic Sword Courses for this year are fully subscribed. However, due to additional requests for places, an extra course has been arranged for this year. This is on Saturday, 19th November, from 10:30 to 12:30. Please book in advance.
The office has just received another letter from the Wessex
Water Board stating that they are continuing with their road
closures from the 4th April until the 8th August on the Causeway.
Just as before, if members use Harp Road from the Fox & Goose
pub on the A38, and turn right when they reach the crossroads at
Mark Causeway, they will still be able to reach Headquarters.
